Edukasi Pemanfaatan Alpukat sebagai Pangan Bergizi dan Skrining Tekanan Darah pada Perempuan Usia Produktif di Desa Tegalrejo, Kecamatan Rejotangan, Kabupaten Tulungagung, Jawa Timur

Pemanfaatan buah alpukat sebagai pangan bergizi di masyarakat masih belum optimal meskipun kaya nutrisi dan senyawa bioaktif yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai kandungan gizi, manfaat kesehatan, dan pemanfaatan buah alpukat sebagai pangan bergizi serta melakukan skrining tekanan darah sebagai upaya deteksi dini hipertensi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Mei 2026 di Desa Tegalrejo, Kecamatan Rejotangan, Kabupaten Tulungagung, Jawa Timur, dengan melibatkan 16 perempuan usia produktif. Metode kegiatan meliputi pre-test, edukasi melalui ceramah interaktif dan diskusi, pemeriksaan tekanan darah, serta post-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya perubahan tingkat pengetahuan peserta mengenai kandungan gizi, manfaat kesehatan, dan pemanfaatan alpukat. Kategori pengetahuan baik meningkat dari 12,5% pada pre-test menjadi 75,0% pada post-test, sedangkan kategori pengetahuan kurang menurun dari 50,0% menjadi 0%. Hasil pemeriksaan tekanan darah menunjukkan bahwa 62,5% peserta berada dalam kategori hipertensi dan 37,5% dalam kategori normal. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta setelah edukasi dan ditemukannya proporsi peserta dengan tekanan darah kategori hipertensi yang cukup tinggi. Edukasi berbasis potensi pangan lokal dan skrining tekanan darah dapat menjadi bagian dari kegiatan promotif dan preventif di masyarakat.
